DUO   DIXCORDES

Jun Sasaki - cello  & Jadran Duncumb - guitar

An exciting and unusual Cello and Guitar duo with award winning guitarist Jadran Duncumb, the duo first performed in 2008- since then they have gone on to perform at venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Cheltenham Town Hall, the National Gallery, the Foundling Museum and the V&A Museum, for festivals and organisations such as 'Exhibition Road Music Day', The Royal Over-Seas League, Chigwell Rotary Club and the LSE (London School of Economics).

Having met each other whilst competing at the 'BBC Young Musician of the Year' competition in 2008, they became friends and later formed Duo DixCordes at the Royal College of Music.

The duo performs a wide variety of music ranging from baroque to contemporary music.

Since there are not many original works for the combination, many of the works performed by the duo are their own arrangements.
